This page is updated whenever the UNCITRAL Secretariat is informed of changes in enactment of the Model Law.
The UNCITRAL Secretariat also prepares yearly a document containing the Status of Conventions and Enactments of UNCITRAL Model Laws, which is available on the web page of the corresponding UNCITRAL Commission session.
Legislation based on the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Conciliation has been enacted in
Canada (2005), Croatia (2003), Hungary (2002), Nicaragua (2005) and Slovenia (2008).
Uniform legislation influenced by the Model Law and the principles on which it is based has been prepared in the:
United States of America (Uniform Mediation Act, adopted in 2001 by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Law) and enacted by the States of:
Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio and Washington.
